This is a backcountry blog for the little guy. Not the guy doing the triple backie off of a 40 foot cliff. Not the guy who’s on the podium at Leadville. It’s not even for the influencer that wants to get all the likes from his 100k followers. This is a blog for the guy who looks at a random unassuming mountain after his 40 hour work week and thinks… “I wonder how I could get up there?”

I hope you enjoy my modest trip reports. I just ask one thing of you: Don’t share this stuff with everyone you meet. Share it with your trusted trip companions. Share it for those who are entertained. But let’s keep the backcountry wild. Let other’s put the leg work in that got you here.
